RuZe Privacy Policy
RuZe is a turn-based strategy game. It is designed to work without accounts, sign-ups, or personal information. This page describes everything the game stores and why.
What RuZe collects
- An anonymous player identifier. On first launch your device generates a random ID. It is not derived from your device hardware, phone number, email, or any personal detail, and it cannot be linked back to you. It exists so your matches and rating belong to something.
- Gameplay data. Your online matches — moves, results, and a skill rating (Glicko-2) — are stored on our servers so asynchronous play works.
- An optional display name. If you set one, other players see it. Pick anything; it does not have to identify you. If you don't set one, a generated nickname is shown.
- A push notification token (Android app only, and only if you allow notifications). Used solely to tell your device "it's your move." Delivered via Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging.
What RuZe does not collect
- No name, email address, phone number, or contacts
- No location data
- No advertising identifiers, no ads, no analytics or tracking SDKs
- Nothing is sold or shared with third parties for their own purposes
Storage and security
All traffic between the game and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). Game data is stored with Cloudflare (Workers, D1, and Durable Objects). Push notifications are delivered through Google Firebase Cloud Messaging acting as a service provider; message content is limited to game events ("Your move — Turn 6").
Deleting your data
Uninstalling the app (or clearing the site's browser data) discards your device's copy of the identifier — with no way to reconnect it, the server-side data becomes orphaned. To have your match history, rating, display name, and push tokens deleted from our servers, email support@edgeroboticshouston.com — include your display name so we can find the records.
Children
RuZe is a general-audience strategy game. It collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
